FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MANSFIELD, Mass. - The Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) is excited to announce that it will partner with Presto Sports and Stretch Internet Solutions to create and launch NE10 NOW, a Conference-wide digital streaming platform, in November 2018. The partnership will enable all 15 NE10 members to digitally stream HD game broadcasts to one platform provided by Stretch Internet and provide high-quality, consistent viewing experiences for the NE10’s fans across the country.

It is anticipated that once NE10 NOW is fully implemented, member institutions will cumulatively stream over 1,500 productions annually free of charge across the Conference’s 24 sponsored sports and campus events. Content will include regular season contest, postseason productions, campus events and original content.

“The extension of our relationship with PrestoSports to now include their Stretch Internet solution marks an exciting step forward for the NE10,” said Julie Ruppert, NE10 Commissioner. “We are thrilled that we will be able to deliver high-quality, HD broadcasts of NE10 sports free to parents and fans, enabling us to showcase the athletic excellence of our student-athletes and coaches.

NE10 NOW will provide fans of the Conference with an opportunity to watch their favorite NE10 schools and sports through multiple outlets. The NE10 will have its own dedicated video portal/web page where fans can watch online as they have in the past. In addition to watching online, NE10 NOW viewers will also be able to watch the action live on their televisions through Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku.

Also included in today’s announcement is word that the NE10 will exclusively use Production Truck software powered by BlueFrame Technologies to more easily and professionally produce content for the  new streaming platform.

“Our members are excited to be utilizing Blue Frame Technology’s Production Truck software,” said Ruppert. “During the eight-month development phase of NE10 NOW, it quickly became evident to us that Production Truck is setting the standard for production features and ease of use and our members were eager to get on board.  The implementation of a Conference-wide production solution will ensure that our NE10 NOW viewers will enjoy a positive viewing experience, no matter who is the home team.”

NE10 Now officially launches on November 9, 2018. Until then, viewers can find their broadcasts on each NE10 member’s athletic website.
