Merrimack won the first three NE10 championships before bowing to Franklin Pierce in 2017 by only two strokes. In each of the first four women’s golf championships, the Warriors and Ravens have finished in the top two spots and are chosen to do so yet again in 2018, as voted on by the league’s head coaches.

The Warriors are led by dominant senior Krystal Knight, a four-time NE10 Golfer of the Week this season after four tournament wins to start her 2018 campaign. Knight has finished in the top-five in each of the past three NE10 championships, including her individual medalist honor in 2017. Freshman Jordan Laplume, a two-time NE10 Rookie of the Week, joins Knight to aid Merrimack’s efforts.

Reigning champion Franklin Pierce will have junior Taylor Hartley and two-time Rookie of the Week Christine Songcuan leading the way this weekend, as it looks to defend its title. Southern New Hampshire (34), Le Moyne (33) and Assumption (23) round-out the top five finishes in the coaches’ poll.
