MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Stonehill Skyhawks have earned the top seed in the upcoming Northeast 10 Conference Women's Tennis Championship after winning the league's regular season crown on Saturday, as the conference office announced its championship seedings this past weekend.

Stonehill garnered the top seed and a first-round bye after going 11-0 in conference play this fall. The Skyhawks, who have fallen in each of the past three title matches to Adelphi, ran the table in the regular season with 11 straight victories.

Merrimack claimed the two-seed with a 9-2 conference record, losing to only Stonehill and Adelphi. The Panthers, three-time defending NE10 champions, enter as the three-seed and will host Assumption on Wednesday afternoon in First Round action.
