SNHU Voted to Repeat as NE10 Champion in Men's Tennis Coaches' Poll

Three-Peat NE10 Champions Picked First in Coaches’ Poll.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Southern New Hampshire men’s tennis has once again been selected to finish first in the Northeast 10 Conference Coaches’ Poll, as released on Wednesday afternoon. The Penmen have won three consecutive NE10 championships, including four of the last five, and look to become only the second program to win at least four-straight league titles in NE10 history.

The Penmen received 96 points, including eight of the nine first-place votes it was eligible to record, as determined by the league’s head coaches. Merrimack placed second with 85 points and one first-place tally, while Le Moyne (79), Bentley (72, one first-place vote) and Franklin Pierce (72) rounded-out the upper half of the poll.

NE10 spring play began on Feb. 2, with the schedule running through the end of April. The 2019 NE10 Men’s Tennis Championship is tabbed to begin on April 30 with the quarterfinal round, followed by the semifinals on May 2 and the championship match on May 4 at the highest remaining seed.
