Falcons Still On Top After Second Day of NE10 Swimming & Diving Championships

Bentley Holds a Lead at Midway Point.

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Bentley Falcons maintained their lead on both the men's and women's side of the Northeast 10 Swimming & Diving Championships after the second day of competition on Friday - led by 200 Yard IM victories from Frank Elenio and Kate Kaduboski. Preliminaries for the third day of action begin on Saturday morning at 8 a.m.

The Bentley men's team has 411 points, holding an advantage over second-place Southern Connecticut (320.5) heading into the weekend. Tahj Mitchell-Westberry helped the Owls' cause by winning the three-meter diving event, while SCSU also took the 400 Yard Medley Relay, but the Falcons took the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay in addition to Elenio's win. On the women's side, Bentley (361 points) holds a narrow advantage over host Assumption (350 points), after the Greyhounds won the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay and Abbey Holmes took the 50 Yard Freestyle to keep pace with the Falcons.
