Dolphins and Falcons Advance, Will Host Semifinals on Thursday.
MANSFIELD, Mass. - Top seeds Bentley and Le Moyne advanced to the Northeast 10 Conference Women's Basketball semifinals on Thursday, as the Falcons and Dolphins earned quarterfinal victories on Sunday afternoon. New Haven, the No. 3 seed in the Southwest Divison, and Saint Anselm, the No. 3 seed in the Northeast Division, round-out the group of final four teams remaining with wins over Stonehill and Adelphi, respectively.
The NE10 Women's Basketball semifinals will tip-off on Thursday night at 7 p.m., live on NE10NOW.tv. Le Moyne will host New Haven, while Bentley welcomes Saint Anselm to the Dana Center. Below is a recap of Sunday's action:
No. 1 SW Le Moyne 74, No. 4 NE Merrimack, 63 | Box Score
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Le Moyne women's basketball, the top seed in the Southwest Division, ran past Merrimack at Ted Grant Court on Sunday afternoon - beating the Warriors 74-63 and advancing to the Northeast 10 Conference semifinals on Thursday night against New Haven. Guard McKayla Roberts was sensational for the Dolphins, scoring 29 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three-point range, and added nine assists in the winning effort.
Jenna Zimmerman added 17 points, five rebounds and four blocks for the Dolphins, who shot 60-percent from long range (9-of-15) for the game. Liz Millea chipped in 16 points for Le Moyne. Merrimack's Denia Davis-Stewart had a 14-point, 15-rebound double-double to lead the Warriors. The Dolphins built a commanding 25-point lead heading into the final quarter - going on to end Merrimack's run in the NE10 Championship.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm women's basketball team picked up an 85-81 victory over the host Panthers from Adelphi University on Sunday in the Northeast 10 Conference Quarterfinals.
With the win, the third-seeded Saint Anselm team improves to 19-8 on the year while the second-seeded Panthers fall to 15-13 on the season. The Hawks move on to the NE10 Semifinals and will play the top-seeded team in the Northeast Division, nationally-ranked Bentley University, on Thursday, Mar. 7 at 7 p.m. in Waltham, Mass.
Junior Shannon Ryan (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) posted 29 points and a career-high 21 rebounds against Adelphi. Her rebound total was the seventh-best single game total in program history and the most since Megan Howard '11 posted 24 rebounds against NYIT on Nov. 12, 2011. During the regular season, Ryan posted a 30-point, 20-rebound performance at Adelphi.

WALTHAM, Mass. – Sophomore guard Katie Meriggioli (Waunakee, Wis./Edgewood HS)stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and two steals as the Bentley Falcons advanced to the semifinals for the 35th time in 38 years with a start-to-finish 68-55 win over American International College in the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Basketball Championships Sunday afternoon at the Dana Center.
The defending champion Falcons, 27-2 with a 14-game winning streak, will host Saint Anselm College, an 85-81 winner over Adephi University, Thursday at 7:00 pm. Bentley was the number one seed out of the Northeast Division and Saint Anselm was the Northeast's number three seed.

EASTON, Mass. – The New Haven women's basketball team pulled out a thrilling 58-52 overtime victory at Stonehill on Sunday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Northeast 10 Conference Championship tournament. The Chargers advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2016, where they will take on Le Moyne, the Southwest Division's top seed, on Thursday.
Stonehill tied the game at 50 with eight seconds remaining in regulation off a second-chance three-pointer, but the Chargers defense came up big and New Haven went 4-for-4 from the free throw line in the extra session to pull out the six-point victory.
Senior Alexandria Kerr (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) led all scorers with 19 points and chipped in eight rebounds. Junior Micah Wormack (Cumberland, Md./Allegany) and sophomore Brie Pergola (Torrington, Conn./Torrington)scored 12 points each, and freshman Camryn DeBose (Wellington, Fla./Wellington Community) pulled in a game-high 11 rebounds. Kim Talley (Quakertown, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) contributed six points in the win.
