Eight NE10 Schools Rank in Top 100 of Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup

Adelphi Finishes First Among NE10 Schools.


MANSFIELD, Mass. – Eight Northeast-10 Conference institutions finished the 2018-19 athletics year ranked in the Top 100 of the Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup, as released on Wednesday by NACDA, with Adelphi finishing the highest of any league school for the second time in the past three seasons.

The Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup, developed by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), awards points based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.

By securing the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship, Adelphi received the highest total of 100 points on its way to 345.50 points for the season – good for 45th in all of Division II. Second among NE10 schools was SNHU, which recorded 300.25 points and earned 61st place.

Stonehill (272 points) was ranked No. 74, while Merrimack and Saint Anselm (270 points) tied for No. 75 in the standings. The Warriors earned a perfect 100 points after capturing the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship, on its way to a 173-point spring.

LIU Post, an NE10 associate member in football and field hockey for its final season before moving to Division I, ranked first among all East Region schools in the Directors’ Cup.
