MANSFIELD, Mass. – Following Wednesday afternoon’s release of the Google Cloud Academic All-American Track & Field Teams, the Northeast 10 Conference has 12 student-athletes that have earned Academic All-American status this spring.
The group, which represents eight different NE10 sports, was headlined by Merrimack men’s lacrosse player Charlie Bertrand – who was named Google Cloud Academic All-America Team Member of the Year for his outstanding work on the field and in the classroom.
Bertrand – who led the Warriors to their second-straight NCAA Championship this past May – was crowned the winner of the NCAA’s Elite 90 Award for boasting the top GPA at championship weekend. Additionally, he was named USILA Player of the Year and Attackman of the Year.
