Bentley Chosen to Repeat as NE10 Men's Golf Champion

MANSFIELD, Mass. -  With the 2018 NE10 Men’s Golf Championship just days away, reigning champion Bentley was chosen by the league’s head coaches to win the conference title by earning 72 points, including three first-place votes, in the Coaches’ Poll as announced on Thursday morning. 

Southern New Hampshire finished second in voting with 69 points, while host and 2017 runner-up Le Moyne ranked third with 64 points. Championship action will be held at the En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott, N.Y. on Sunday and Monday (Sept. 30-Oct. 1).

The two-day tournament begins on Sunday with tee times in the late morning and early afternoon. The final round on Monday is a shotgun start at 9 a.m., with the awards ceremony to follow the completion of play. Follow @TheNortheast10 on Twitter for updates throughout the Men’s Golf Championship.

The Falcons have won two of the last four NE10 Men’s Golf Championships, entering the weekend as the league favorite. Bentley will look for its seventh title in program history and are led by Doug Kulikowski and Chris Simione, as well as Tommy Ethier – the NE10 Men’s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday. 

Southern New Hampshire, Le Moyne, Franklin Pierce and Assumption round-out the top five in the poll, with the Raven garnering a league-high four first-place votes. For complete poll results, see below.
