Jack Larsen Introduced as Newest Member of Southern Connecticut Men's Basketball Team Through Team Impact

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - On Friday afternoon, the Southern Connecticut State men's basketball team introduced Jack Larsen as the team's newest member. Jack, age 10, joins the Owls through Team Impact.

The team held a large press conference in Moore Field House to unveil their newest teammate. The event featured the entire men's basketball team and coaching staff, athletic director Jay Moran, as well as the Owls' cheerleaders.

During the event, Jack was presented with his own authentic Owls men's basketball jersey and signed his letter of intent. Jack and his family then posed for pictures with his new teammates and did an interview with SCSU TV.

"We have 13 special guys who are a part of this program, and it's a great day to add our 14th member. So Jack...welcome to the family" assistant coach Mike Makubika remarked during the press conference.

"With our new member, we're definitely headed in the right direction. This is the perfect time for our program to welcome you with open arms" added head coach Michael Donnelly.
