Assumption’s Greg O’Donnell was named the Sport Excellence Award winner for baseball. O’Donnell hit .298 with three home runs and 31 runs batted in, while finishing second in the league with 19 doubles. An Academic All-Conference choice in 2014, the Greyhound infielder posted a 3.9 grade point average while majoring in economics.

Fellow Greyhound Aubrey Lovejoy was the Sport Excellence Award recipient for women’s tennis. She was a second team all-conference selection at No. 3 doubles with a perfect 8-0 record in league play while posting an 8-3 record at No. 6 singles. Lovejoy, a graphic design major, garnered a 3.86 GPA.

Le Moyne’s Aidan Fuller helped guide the Dolphins to the NCAA Men’s Golf Championships for the second time in program history this spring. He led Le Moyne to four tournament victories with a team-best 75.9 scoring average. Fuller posted a 3.728 GPA and is an accounting major.

Fellow Dolphin Maggie Monnat played a major role in leading the Le Moyne women’s lacrosse team to the national semifinals. A biology major with a 3.955 GPA, Monnat was the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Elite 89 Award winner.

Bentley’s Matt Dente was the Sport Excellence Award recipient for men’s lacrosse. He led the Falcons with career highs in both goals (21) and points (27) this season. Dente, now a three-time NE-10 Academic All-American, garnered a GPA of 3.81 while studying corporate finance and accounting.
