FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Nearly 3,700 NE10 Student-Athletes Achieved a 3.0 or Better During Spring Semester

MANSFIELD, Mass. - The Northeast-10 Conference announced today that 3,685 of it's more than 6,000 student-athletes have been named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll (CHR) for the fall semester. The announcement proves that once again, the league's student-athletes continue to excel at a remarkably high level in the classroom.

61% of all NE10 student-athletes were recognized. The 61% mark is just one-percentage point below the conference's high mark of 62% which was accomplished last fall. Of those that were named to the CHR, 249 posted a perfect 4.0 GPA. Adelphi led the way with 30 student-athletes achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA, followed by Merrimack which had 28.

The NE10 CHR program recognizes the conference’s student-athletes for their achievements within the classroom. In order to be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. To see each school's list of honorees, please see the links below.

"Our student-athletes continue to succeed at extremely high levels in the classroom, and I'm extremely proud of their accomplishments." said NE10 Commissioner Julie Ruppert. 80% of the schools in the league had at least 50% of their student-athletes recognized. Nine schools had at least 60-percent of their total student-athlete population claim CHR laurels.
