Stonehill Hosts First-Ever Rock-A-Thon to Benefit Make-A-Wish

EASTON, Mass. – The Stonehill Student-Athlete Advisory Committee held its first-ever Rock-A-Thon in front of the Sally Blair Ames Sports Complex on Friday, April 28 to benefit Make-A-Wish.

The Rock-A-Thon involved six purple rocking chairs and they were constantly in motion from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Members of the Stonehill community, including various departments and athletic teams split time slots throughout the day raising a grand total of $6,500.00 with the hopes of hosting a Make-A-Wish reveal on campus during next academic year.
