2020-21 NE10 Awards Show Scheduled for Monday Night

MANSFIELD, Mass. - As the 2020-21 academic year comes to an end, the Northeast-10 Conference will honor some of its best and brightest when it holds its virtual NE10 Awards Show on Monday night at 7 p.m. The event will be live on the conference's Facebook and YouTube pages.  

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NE10 is unable to hold its annual banquet for the second-straight year, but remains committed to honoring student-athletes, teams and faculty from its 14 member institutions. On Monday, the night that the NE10 banquet would have been held, the league will continue to recognize some of its most outstanding individuals. NE10 Commissioner Julie Ruppert will be giving opening remarks at the start of the show.

The NE10 Awards Show will announce winners for the following awards:

  • Man of the Year
  • Woman of the Year
  • Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year
  • Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year
  • Dr. Dave Landers Faculty Mentor Award
  • Presidents' Cup seasonal champion (2021 spring)

In its 40th anniversary season, the NE10 is an association of 14 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete. 

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship.
