FOOTBALL

No. 16 New Haven at No. 8 Bowie State: Saturday, Sept. 3 – 1:00 p.m.­ (Live Stats – Video)


INTERESTING FACT:
It is the second-straight season that New Haven is playing nationally-ranked Bowie State in non-conference play. The Chargers lost the 2021 matchup by a 24-13 margin. The reigning NE10 champions look to avenge that defeat in their season-opener on the road. In the all-time series, New Haven is 3-1 against Bowie State, with all three victories coming in the mid-1990s. 


FIELD HOCKEY

No. 4 Assumption at No. 2 West Chester: Friday, Sept. 2 – 5:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)


INTERESTING FACT:
Assumption, the 2021 NE10 champion, looks for payback on Friday evening when it plays West Chester on the road. The Greyhounds lost to the Golden Rams, 3-0,  in the NCAA semifinals last season in Millersville, Pa. It is the second-consecutive season that Assumption will open against West Chester.


MEN'S SOCCER

Post at Franklin Pierce: Saturday, Sept. 3 – 7:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)


INTERESTING FACT:
Two defending league champions will be playing on Saturday night at Sodexo Field when Franklin Pierce, the reigning NE10 champion, hosts Post University, the reigning CACC champion in an East Region showdown. 


WOMEN'S SOCCER

Jefferson at Saint Rose: Saturday, Sept. 3 – 2:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)


INTERESTING FACT:
No. 2 Saint Rose welcomes Jefferson on Saturday afternoon in a rematch of the NCAA East Regional semifinal last fall, where the Golden Knights advanced on penalty kicks (4-2) over the Rams. Saint Rose went on to reach the NCAA championship match and lost in double-overtime to Grand Valley State. 


VOLLEYBALL

Saint Anselm vs. No. 9 Nebraska-Kearney: Saturday, Sept. 3 – 3:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)


INTERESTING FACT:
Saint Anselm went 5-0 on opening weekend and will try to keep its momentum going this weekend in the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational. It will be Saint Anselm's first-ever meeting with Nebraska-Kearney, as the Hawks will look for a top-10 win against the nationally-ranked Lopers.
