NE10 Hall of Fame Inductee: Darren Duncan, Merrimack Basketball

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Darren Duncan, Merrimack Men's Basketball – Class of 2010

Darren Duncan was a two-time All-American during his time in the Northeast-10 Conference. The Merrimack standout still holds the program record for assists (825), free-throws made (234), and free throws attempted (715). During his career he scored 2,049 points and helped lead Merrimack to three consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.

His 7.05 assists per game throughout his time at Merrimack is still the 16th-best mark in NCAA Division II history. Duncan was named a Bob Cousy Award Finalist during his senior season, which is awarded annually to the nation's top player. Darren led the NE10 in assists in all four of his seasons on campus and leads the NE10 in free throws for a career still to this day. He also led the conference in scoring as a junior and in steals as a senior.

This year, the NE10 is proud to welcome eight additions to our Hall of Fame. We welcome three national-title winning teams, and five outstanding former student-athletes to the Conference Hall of Fame.
