Three NE10 Baseball Teams Set to Compete at NCAA East Regional

Chargers, Owls, and Penmen Set to Begin NCAA Play

MANSFIELD, Mass. - Three Northeast-10 Conference baseball programs were selected to compete at the NCAA East Regional, which is scheduled to begin Thursday, May 18 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Southern New Hampshire, which won the NE Division regular season title, earned the top seed and will host all games of the 2017 East Regional. Recently-crowned New Haven, which won the NE10 Champsionship over the weekend, earned the #2 seed in this year's regional. While Southern Connecticut, the SW Division regular season champs, earned an at-large berth and the six seed at this year's East Regional.

Both New Haven and So. Connecticut will begin play on Thursday, while So. New Hampshire gets to wait until Friday to make their tournament debut by virtue of the fact that they earned the top seed.

The double-elimination event will culminate on Monday afternoon with the winner heading to Grand Prairie, Texas to compete at the NCAA College World Series.

Game 5: Game 3 Winner at (1) Southern New Hampshire -- 3 p.m.
Game 6: Game 2 Winner vs. Game 1 Winner -- 7 p.m. 

Saturday, May 20
Game 7: Game 4 Winner vs. Game 5 Loser -- 11 a.m. (loser eliminated) 
Game 8: Game 6 Loser vs. Game 3 Loser -- 3 p.m. (loser eliminated)

Sunday, May 21
Game 10: Game 8 Winner vs. Game 7 Winner -- 12 p.m. (loser eliminated)

Monday, May 22
Game 12: Game 9 Winner vs. Game 11 Winner -- 12 p.m.
