PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - For the fourth year in a row, the Pace University athletics department visited the Bedford Road School in Pleasantville for their annual "Read Across America" event.

Members of the Pace football and volleyball teams volunteered this past Monday morning to read to the students at the Bedford Road School. Each year, the Bedford Road School celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday with a theme from one of his famous children's books. Pace Athletes read to classes throughout the school and answered questions about their sport and their favorite books growing up.

"This is an event that our team looks forward to each year," said Pace sophomore volleyball player Alyssa Marchino. "We really enjoy visiting the school and celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday by reading to the students".
