NEW ENGLAND FOOTBALL WRITERS RELEASE

Three NE10 Programs Earn Multiple Selections.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Nine football players from the Northeast-10 Conference earned a place on the Division II-III All-New England Team by the New England Football Writers on Monday afternoon, leading all Division II and III conferences in the region.

The NE10 had three teams earn multiple selections to the All-New England Team – including Assumption, Stonehill and league champion Bentley. All nine players were voted to the All-Conference First Team last week, while four earned Player of the Year honors from the league at their respective position.

Stonehill's Justin Felder, the NE10 Most Valuable Player, was joined by teammate Andrew Jamiel on the All-New England Team. The dynamic duo for the Skyhawks combined for over 2,500 yards of offense and 26 touchdowns in their record-setting season.

Saint Anselm's CJ Miller, the league's Defensive Player of the Year, was also recognized for his remarkable season – as he led the league in tackles (107), sacks (10.5) and forced fumbles (3) to fuel the Hawk's defense.

Assumption's Quentin Hall, the Offensive Lineman of the Year, and Seamus Wallace represented the Greyhounds, while American International's Isiah Tolbert received another accolade following his Defensive Lineman of the Year honors.

Hall's blocking helped the Greyhounds score a league-high 20 rushing touchdowns this season, while Tolbert accounted for a league-best 18 tackles for a loss on the defensive line.

Bentley's Pete Thorbahn and Cedric Dashiell II were elected to the team on the defensive side of the ball after strong seasons for the Falcons. New Haven's representative was Ju'An Williams – a two-time First Team player this season (WR and returner) - as a return specialist.

The All-New England Team will be honored at the New England Football Writer's Captains and Awards Banquet on Thursday, Dec. 12, at Rosaria Restaurant and Function Facility in Saugus, Mass. Tickets are $60/person and are available by credit card only HERE.

People interested in attending should contact Dick Lipe at Bentley University at 781-891-2334 so tables can be assigned.
