Nine NE10 Players Selected to D2CCA Football All-Super Region 1 Team

Bentley and New Haven Tied with League-High Three Selections.


MANSFIELD, Mass. –Northeast-10 Conference football programs earned nine selections in the recently announced Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Super Region 1 Team, as Bentley and New Haven led with a league-best three selections apiece.

Bentley's Cedie Dashiell II, the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year, and Pace's Kevin Toote, the NE10 Offensive Lineman of the Year, both earned First Team recognition from the D2CCA. Joining them was Assumption's Isaiah Huff at the defensive back position.

Four different teams from the NE10 were represented on the D2CCA All-Super Region 1 Team. All of New Haven's selections earned Second Team honors – Christopher Ais, William Ayers and David Onyemem. Bentley's Jailen Branch and Salvatore Lupoli Jr., as well as Pace's Nasier Givens – the NE10 Defensive Lineman of the Year - were also recognized on the Second Team.

All nine players were named to the NE10 All-Conference First Team, while three earned major awards for their outstanding performances during the 2022 season.

The D2CCA encourages and promotes DII athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact DII intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA DII member colleges and universities.
