MANSFIELD, Mass. - LIU Post's Emily Miller and AIC's Taylor Ross were named the National Offensive and Defensive Players this week by the NFHCA.

It's the second time Miller has been selected and honored, while it's the first nod for the Yellow Jackets netminder.

Miller, who has helped LIU Post ascend to the top of the national rankings, tallied two goals and two assists for a six-point output in helping lead the Pioneers to a pair of wins last week. The sophomore scored a pair of goals and added an assist in a 3-0 win over No. 5 Stonehill on Saturday in her best game of the week.

Ross, meanwhile, was brilliant in posting back-to-back shutouts, and American Int'l needed every one of her saves as they won twice in double-overtime last week, 1-0, over Franklin Pierce and Southern New Hampshire.

She made all three of her saves against Franklin Pierce during the extra session. Two of her three saves against SNHU were also in overtime, including on a dangerous chance on a penalty corner.
