NFHCA Senior Team Release

13 Student-Athletes Named to Senior Team

BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced the members of its 2020 NFHCA Division II Senior Team and the Northeast-10 had 13 student-athletes selected to the team on Wednesday.

The in-person 2020 NFHCA Senior Game was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the 2021 Virtual Coaches Caucus, the NFHCA Division II membership agreed to continue to recognize a selected group from the graduating class of 2021 who either played or would have played their senior season during the 2020-2021 academic year. The selected student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coach and were chosen based on their career accomplishments.

Reigning NE10 Champion Saint Anselm had three selections to the senior team, along with Adelphi who also had three. Southern Connecticut  had a pair honored. Five of the 13 honorees were First-Team All-Conference selections in 2019, including Julia Hand of Saint Anselm who was the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year.
