Kelleigh Gustafson, a member of the Le Moyne women's golf team, has been battling arteriovenous malformation (AVM) for most of her life. In turn, a charitable organization called Kelleigh's Cause was created to raise funds for the search to find a cure for AVM.

At the age of four, Gustafson was diagnosed with AVM, which affects the right side of her head, neck and chest. A potentially fatal condition, a vascular anomaly is easiest described as when one's arteries multiply at a dangerously high rate creating a mass.

Gustafson spoke about Kelleigh's Cause with Cardinal Dolan on his weekly "Conversation with Cardinal Dolan" on Sirius 129 in April, and she has spread word about the organization through Kelleigh.org and facebook.com/KelleighsCause.

A biology major, Gustafson is entering her sophomore campaign with the Dolphins this fall, as the team will look to build off a third-place finish at the inaugural Northeast-10 Women's Golf Championship this past season.
