Top Two Seeds to Meet for NE10 Title Saturday
Two number one seeds - Le Moyne and Saint Anselm - will meet in Saturday's Northeast-10 Conference Men's Basketball Championship. Here's how Wednesday's Semifinal Round action played out -

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Senior forward Isaiah Eisendorf, pictured, scored a career-high 29 points to lead Le Moyne to a 83-55 victory over Merrimack in the Northeast-10 Conference Championships semifinals on Wednesday evening at Ted Grant Court.
With the victory, Le Moyne's 14th in their last 15 games, the Dolphins will host the Northeast-10 Conference Championship game for the first time in the program's history on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. against Saint Anselm, the top seed in the NE10 Northeast Division. Saturday's matchup will be the eighth postseason contest between the Dolphins and Hawks, with the Hawks holding a 5-2 advantage and winning the last four meetings. In the team's regular season meeting this season on January 20, the Dolphins were victorious 76-63 at Grant Court.
Eisendorf, who has established a new career high four times in the last seven games and scored at least 20 points in five of those seven games, scored 17 points in the first half. As part of his 17-point first half, Eisendorf scored 14 straight points for the Dolphins over a span of 9:32. He also pulled down a team high-tying nine rebounds, dished out two assists and posted two steals. Senior guard Russell Sangster recorded 14 of his 20 points in the second half as the Dolphins had a pair of 20-point scorers for just the second time this season.
Sangster, who like Eisendorf was named to the NE10 All-Conference Second Team on Monday, added six rebounds and two steals. Senior forward Robert Jones III registered 13 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks, while senior guard Tanner Hyland netted 10 points off the bench. Redshirt senior guard Tyquan Rolon tallied six points, a game-best eight assists and grabbed five rebounds off the bench. Ryan Boulter led the way for Merrimack offensively with 12 points.

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Junior Tim Guers, the 2018 NE10 Player of the Year, scored 36 points to help Saint Anselm record an 87-80 victory over visiting Bentley in the NE10 Semifinals Wednesday night.
Saint Anselm (22-7) advances to the NE10 title game for the second-consecutive season, having defeated Southern New Hampshire in last season's league tournament finale. Bentley (16-12) sees its season come to a close with Wednesday's result.
The top seed in the NE10's Northeast Division, Saint Anselm will travel to the Southwest Division's top seed, Le Moyne, on Saturday, Mar. 3 at 3 p.m. to compete in the NE10 Championship game. Le Moyne cruised to an 83-55 win over Merrimack in its league semifinal game on Wednesday.
Alongside 36 points, Guers tallied nine assists and as many rebounds in 40 minutes of action. Senior Taylor Fortin matched Guers with nine helpers, scoring 23 points. The last pair of Saint Anselm teammates to record more than eight assists apiece in one game was Jeff Dickson '08 (10 ast.) and Chris Vetrano '08 (8 ast.) on Dec. 19, 2007 against Concordia (N.Y.).
Freshman Chris Paul reeled in a game-high 10 rebounds, scoring nine points, while classmate Gustav Suhr-Jessen scored seven points. Senior Austin Nydegger posted seven points and two rebounds in 11 minutes of action off the bench. Ryan Richmond led the way for Bentley offensively with 35 points.
