Skyhawks Win Regular Season Crown, Earn Top Seed in NE-10 Ice Hockey Championship

NE-10 Semifinals Set for Saturday

CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

MANSFIELD, Mass. – After clinching its third straight Northeast-10 Regular Season title, the Stonehill Skyhawks have claimed the top seed in the upcoming NE-10 Ice Hockey Championship, it was announced by the league office on Sunday. 

The Skyhawks won the regular season crown after going 7-1-2 in conference play and 12-9-4 overall. Stonehill will host fourth-seeded Assumption (2-6-1 NE-10) on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Saint Anselm, which went 4-1 in the NE-10 and 11-11-3 overall, collected the No. 2 seed. The Hawks will host third-seeded Southern New Hampshire (4-3-4 NE-10) on Saturday at 4 p.m.

The 2016 Northeast-10 Championship Game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the highest remaining seed and will be broadcast live on Northeast10.tv. For NE-10 Championship updates, follow @TheNortheast10 on Twitter.
