Top-seeded Stonehill and second-seeded Saint Anselm will meet in next Saturday's Northeast-10 Conference Ice Hockey Championship game following today's semifinal action.

FOXBORO, Mass - The top-seeded Skyhawks fell behind 1-0 early on but would score five of the next six goals during Saturday night's NE-10 Semifinal, en route to the 8-4 win. The eight goals is a season-high mark for Stonehill.

Stonehill was solid on specil teams as the Skyhawks converted three of their five power play opportunities to open up the game during the middle portion of Saturday's game.

Robbie Dorgan and Thomas Jenkins each scored two goals for the Skyhawks, who will now host next Saturday's Northeast-10 Conference Championship game. William Palmer stopped 23 shots between the pipes for the regular season champions.

Stonehill fell to Saint Anselm in last year's Conference semifinal game, but defeated the Hawks earlier this year, 5-2.

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Vin D'Amato, pictured, tallied his first-career hat trick and Shane Joyce made 24 saves in his second shutout of the season as #2 Saint Anselm blanked #3 Southern New Hampshire, 3-0, in the Semifinals of the Northeast-10 Championship on Saturday evening at Sullivan Arena.

With the win, the Hawks improve to 12-11-3 and advance to the NE-10 Championship title game.

D'Amato scored a goal in each period to complete his first hat trick at Saint Anselm.

Ryan Slatky made 36 saves for the Penmen in the loss and fell to 3-11-3 on the season. Joyce stopped all 24 shots he faced for the Hawks to improve to 10-8-3. Shots for the game were 39-24 in favor of Saint Anselm.
