MANSFIELD, Mass. – No. 8 seed American International took down top seed and No. 6 ranked Adelphi 3-2 in double overtime on Saturday evening to cap off a wild NE10 Quarterfinals, which saw three higher seeds earn victories on the road Saturday.

No. 6 Saint Rose held third seed Southern New Hampshire scoreless through two overtimes and then advanced to its first-ever NE10 Semifinals via penalty kicks, 6-5, in the eighth round. Fifth seed Assumption opened the day by moving to its first NE10 Semifinals with an impressive 2-0 victory over No. 4 Le Moyne. No. 2 Franklin Pierce was the lone higher seed to advance, taking down No. 7 Bentley 5-1.

No. 8 American International 3, No. 1 Adelphi 2 – 2OT – Box Score

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. -  For the second straight year American International came through with the upset as the No. 8 seed in the NE10 Tournament. This year it took over 100 minutes, as Jake Durham scored on a bicycle kick in double overtime to lift the Yellow Jackets to a 3-2 victory over top seeded Adelphi on Saturday evening.

Durham scored the game-tying goal in the 78th minute to draw the Yellow Jackets even as they held on to force OT. AIC took a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute of action, but the Panthers tallied a goal late in the first half and then just 14 minutes into the second half for a 2-1 advantage. Ben Taylor finished with five saves in 104 minutes of action.

No. 6 Saint Rose 0, No. 3 Southern N.H. 0 - 2OT (6-5pk) – Box Score

ALBANY, N.Y. – It took 110 minutes of scoreless game action and eight rounds of penalty kicks, but No. 6 seed Saint Rose outlasted No. 3 Southern New Hampshire to advance to the NE10 Semifinals for the first time in program history on Saturday evening.

The Golden Knights and Penmen were unable able to score through regulation and two overtimes, sending the contest to penalty kicks. Southern New Hampshire went first and each team made its first three attempts. The Penmen missed their next two, but Saint Rose also failed to net the potential game-winner twice. In the eighth round, Gianni Carillo saved his third penalty attempt and then Andrew Lule played the hero by firing home his kick to start the celebration. Carillo, meanwhile, finished with nine saves during 110 minutes of action to preserve the tie and send it to penalty kicks.

No. 5 Assumption 2, No. 4 Le Moyne 0 – Box Score

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - It was a bit of retribution and excitement for No. 5 Assumption against the No. 4 Le Moyne Dolphins in the opening round of the Northeast-10 Tournament, winning 2-0 to earn their first playoff victory in program history, a nice rebound from their 3-1 loss to the Dolphins during the regular season.

The Hounds controlled play for most of both halves, holding Le Moyne to only two shots on goal, while scoring once in each half. Ruben Faria scored first for the Hounds with just 1:36 left in the first half. Nicolas Cardona added an insurance goal at the 57:59 mark of the second half and Sebastian Jimenez made two saves to earn his sixth shutout this season, improving to 10-7-0.

RINDGE, N.H. – Franklin Pierce scored four times in the opening 25 minutes, cruising to a 5-1 victory over No. 7 seed Bentley in the NE10 Quarterfinals on Saturday and giving head coach Ruben Resendes his first NE10 Playoff victory.

Junior Yannik Felber tallied his first career hat trick, scoring just 4:46 into the contest to provide the Ravens with a lead they would never relinquish. He has five goals over his last three games as the Ravens outshot the Falcons 20-8 in the contest. Jadel Poon-Lewis got the start and made three saves in 77 minutes to secure the victory and help the team advance to its first NE10 Semifinals since 2016.
