Embrace The Championship: SNHU Picked to Three-Peat in Men's Tennis this Spring

Penmen Receive Nine First-Place Votes to Earn Top Spot

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Southern New Hampshire has been picked by the league's head coaches to make it three straight championship titles as the Northeast-10 Conference revealed its 2018 Men's Tennis Coaches' Poll today. It was a complete sweep for the Penmen, as they received nine of the ten possible first-place votes. Since coaches can not vote for their own programs, they received every possible point that was available.

Southern New Hampshire garnered 81 total points in the voting. Bentley finished second in the voting with 65 points, while Merrimack finished just behind in third with 63 points.

NE10 spring conference play is scheduled to begin this Sunday, February 18 as Le Moyne hosts Southern New Hampshire in a key early-season matchup. The NE10 Championship will begin with Quarterfinal Round action on Tuesday, April 17 followed by the Semifinals on Thursday, April 19. The finals are scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 21.
