Embrace The Victory: NE10 Releases Swimming and Diving of the Year Awards

NE10 Swimming and Diving Award Winners Recognized

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference announced its swimming and diving award winners from the 2017-18 campaign today. The ten honorees represent four institutions with Southern Connecticut leading the way with four honors.

For a complete list of the award winners, as voted upon by the league's head coaches, please see below.

Le Moyne's Travis May was tabbed Male Swimmer of the Year for the second consecutive season, while Southern Connecticut's Katie Crochet earned the honor on the women's side. Crochet also earned the Swimmer of the Meet at NE10's in February.

Pace's Sophia Howard and Saint Rose's Grant Tinsley Little were honored as the NE10 Divers of the Year. Both were recognized as Divers of the Meet at the NE10 Championships earlier this year. Howard was recognized as the NE10 Diver of the Week five times throughout the season, while Tinsley Little earned the award four times.

Pace's Annie Keppel-Palmer and Southern Connecticut's Graeden Sartoris were tabbed as the conference's Rookies of the Year for their efforts in their first years at the collegiate level. Sartoris's coach, Tim Quill, earned Coach of the Year laurels on both the men's and women's side as he led both programs to NE10 titles this season.  For Quill, it marks the 22nd and 23rd during time during his illustrious career that he has been recognized as NE10 Coach of the Year.

Pace's Dylan Korn and Saint Rose's Joshua Dodway were selected as the NE10's Diving Coaches of the 2017-18 season. Both tutored the conference's top student-athletes in the sport, with Korn having worked with Howard and Dodway coaching Tinsley Little.
