Seven NE10 Swimming Programs Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

Seven Swim Programs Honored by CSCAA


MANSFIELD, Mass. – Today seven Northeast-10 men's and women's swimming & diving programs were named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (SCSAA) Scholar All-America Team for their success in the classroom during the fall semester. 

On the women's side, seven different schools were honored after posting a GPA over 3.0. Adelphi, Bentley, Pace, Saint Michael's, Saint Rose, Southern Connecticut and Stonehill were all honored while Adelphi, Bentley, Pace, Saint Michael's and Southern Connecticut were the men's teams to be named to the Scholar All-America Team. 

The Bentley women's team posted the highest team GPA of all the NE10 schools honored with a 3.61 GPA, while Pace was second with a 3.55 and Stonehill was third with a 3.47. Adelphi led all men's teams with a 3.64 GPA, followed closely by Bentley (3.51) and Pace (3.43). 

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.

Beginning its 40th anniversary season, the NE10 is an association of 14 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.  

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship.
