NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Connor Quirbach, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Lowell, Mass.

Freshman Connor Quirbach won all seven of his events while helping the Purple Knights win the five-school North Country Invitational over the weekend. Five of his times were among the top two in the conference this season. He played a hand in 176 of his team's 536.50 points, along the way setting a school record in the 200 freestyle (1:45.50) with the second-best time in the NE10 this winter. Quirbach swam for three relays that turned in the NE10's top times this season, including swimming leadoff in the 400 medley relay (3:34.12) while completing 200 freestyle relay (1:27.01) and 400 freestyle relay (3:12.76) quartets. He notched the league's second-best 500 freestyle time (4:53.15), aided the NE10's fourth-fastest 200 medley relay (1:37.28), and tied for the fifth-best 100 freestyle (48.14) time.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Margaret Wilk, Saint Michael's
Sophomore | Hardyston, N.J.

Sophomore Margaret Wilk won three times while posting seven top-three showings in helping Saint Michael's win the five-team North Country Invitational over the weekend, with three of her times among the top five in the NE10 this winter. Wilk anchored the winning 400 freestyle relay (3:49.26), which had the league's third-best showing, while her wins during the 200 individual medley (2:18.52) and 200 medley relay (1:55.56), which she anchored, placed fifth in the NE10. Wilk also anchored runner-up foursomes in the 200 freestyle relay (1:44.76) and 400 medley relay (4:19.81) while claiming third in both the 100 freestyle (56.55) and 200 freestyle (2:04.35), trailing the runners-up by 0.26 seconds in the 100 free and by 0.23 ticks in the 200 free. She had a hand in 156 of the Purple Knights' 580 points.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Matheus Silva, Southern Conn. St.
Sophomore | Stratford, Conn.

Against WPI, Matheus Silva competed in the 1 Meter and 3 Meter Diving events. He won the 3 Meter Diving event with a score of 258.30. He then won his second event of the dual meet with a win in the 1 Meter Diving with a score of 257.35.


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Mary Huminski, Bentley
Senior | Madison, Conn.

Against Keene State, Huminski finished first in the one-meter diving with a score of 289.48. She did not compete off the three-meter board.


NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week

NE10 Women's Rookie of the Week

Grace Motisi, Bentley
Freshman | Ellington, Conn.

In Bentley's win over Keene State, Motisi captured the 1000 yard freestyle by 42 seconds with a time of 11:13.66 and also finished first in the 500 free (5:26.49). In addition, she posted the conference's second best 100 individual medley time of the season, 1:06.14, while finishing fourth and was part of a 200 free relay team that was third (1:47.58).


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

200 Freestyle Relay, Saint Michael's
Senior William Sullivan, sophomores Will Englehardt and Thomas Kane, and first-year Connor Quirbach won all four of their relays while posting the top time in the NE10 this week in the 200 free relay with a finish of 1:27:01 en route to helping the Purple Knights win the five-team North Country Invitational over the weekend. 


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

200 Medley Relay, Southern Conn. St.
The 200 Yard Medley relay team of Hailey Nyquist, Maddie Dean, Justice Glasgow and Emily Darroch finished with a time of 1:53.23.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Cooper Rivers, Adelphi (So. - Lake Elsinore, Calif.)
Cooper Rivers' 200 IM time of 1:58.44 bested the field at the USMMA Memorial Invitational. He also placed second in the 100-fly at 52.55 and came in fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with an even 22.00 clocking, which stands as a season-best in the specialty.

Jeremy Glick, Bentley (Gr. - South Windsor, Conn.)
Glick swept the diving competition against Keene State, posting scores of 278.77 from the one-meter board and 207.59 from the three-meter.

Mary Huminski, Bentley (Sr. - Madison, Conn.)
Against Keene State, Huminski finished first in the one-meter diving with a score of 289.48. She did not compete off the three-meter board.

Anthony Vizental, Bentley (Sr. - Concord, Calif.)
Vizental, in Bentley's win over Keene State, won three races, all with Northeast-10 season-best times, while also breaking two pool records. The pool records came in the 50 yard breaststroke (27.30) and the 50 yard butterfly (23.25), and he also touched first in the 100 freestyle (47.58). In addition, he swam the fastest leg, 21.70, during the 200 free relay. In the relay, Bentley's time of 1:39.27 was good for fourth place.

Liam Burke, Saint Michael's (Sr. - Scotia, N.Y.)
Senior Liam Burke registered runner-up showings in the one-meter diving (174.15) and three-meter diving (161.50), losing the latter by 4.05 points, while helping the Purple Knights win the five-team North Country Invitational over the weekend.

Dariana Gonzales, Bentley (Sr. - Stamford, Conn.)
In a dual meet against Keene State, Gonzales finished first in both the 50 yard backstroke (28.96) and the 100 freestyle (54.40) with her latter time a Northeast-10 season-best. She was also part of a 200 free relay team that placed second in 1:44.78.

Arianna Arturi, Southern Conn. St. (So. - Mt. Olive, N.J.)
In a win against WPI, Arianna Arturi won the 50 Freestyle event with a time of 25.39. She also finished second in the 100 Free with a time of 55.72 and was part of the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay that finished in 3:42.89.

Nicholle Denault, Southern Conn. St. (So. - West Hartford, Conn.)
Against WPI, Nicholle Denault won the 1 Meter event with a score of 226.65 and finished second in the 3 Meter Diving event with a score of 196.55.

Lindsay McCawley, Southern Conn. St. (So. - Horseheads, N.Y.)
Against WPI, Lindsay McCawley dominated the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:33.75. She also finished second in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:12.82 and third in the 200 Yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:20.88.

McAllistar Milne, Southern Conn. St. (So. - Glastonbury, Conn.)
Against WPI, McCallister Milne won four events, including the 200 Medley Relay, 200 Butterfly, 100 Freestyle and 200 Individual Medley. The 200 Yard Medley relay team of McAllistar Milne, Chandler Tucker, Kobe Dominguez and Henry Velazquez won with a time of 1:37.74.Milne picked up another win, this time in the 200 Yard Butterfly, with a time of 1:54.38.He then won this third event of the meet with a time of 47.78 in the 100 Freestyle. He concluded his performance when took his fourth event of the race with a time of 1:54.39 in the 200 Yard IM.
