NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Anthony Vizental, Bentley
Senior | Concord, Calif.

In a pair of dual meets, Vizental was victorious in every event he was part of, six individual and two relay. Against St. Michael's, his times were 1:47.86 in the 200 freestyle, 2:15.86 in the 200 breaststroke and 2:02.41 in the 200 individual medley. In the Adelphi meet, he finished the 200 butterfly in 1:58.39, the 200 breast in 2:12.64 and the 400 IM in 4:21.33. In the relays, Vizental helped Bentley swim the 200 free against St. Michael's in 1:29.09 and the 200 medley against Adelphi in 1:36.62. His 400 IM performance was good for fourth best in the conference this season, and his 200 breast time was fifth best.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Caitlyn Longway, Le Moyne
Senior | Sauquoit, N.Y.

She had three individual victories and teamed on four relay wins in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. In Tuesday's 169-50 win at Alfred, she anchored the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay, which won with a time of 1:55.04. She then registered a time of 25.55 seconds to win the 50-yard freestyle. She swam the third leg of the victorious 200-yard freestyle to close out the meet. In a 132-105 win over Nazareth on Friday, she anchored the meet-opening 400-yard medley relay, which won by over 10 and one-half seconds with a time of 4:12.74. She won the 50-yard freestyle by half a second with a mark of 25.69 seconds. She later was victorious in the 100-yard freestyle by over one second with a time of 56.65 seconds. She closed out the meet by leading off the victorious 400-yard freestyle relay, which won by almost seven seconds.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Jeremy Glick, Bentley
Graduate Student | South Windsor, Conn.

Glick swept the diving events in two meets during the week. Against St. Michael's, he posted scores of 284.39 from the one-meter board and 244.19 from the three-meter with both ranking third best in the conference this season. His scores against Adelphi were 259.94 one-meter and 226.87 three-meters.


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Skyler Nenadich, Adelphi
Senior | Bayside, N.Y.

Skyler Nenadich rebounded from her second place finish a day earlier on the one-meter board to score 251.08 to earn points for the women's squad against Southern Conn., nearly 20 points higher than the next score. She doubled up on a three-meter crown for the second day in a row, putting up 233.69 against Bentley and 215.09 versus the Owls.


NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week

Connor Quirbach, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Lowell, Mass.

Freshman Connor Quirbach won four times and placing among the top three six times in a pair of meets last week. On Tuesday at Bentley, he was second in the 200 freestyle (1:50.28) and third during the 500 freestyle (5:17.17) while leading off for the fourth-place 200 freestyle (1:32.98) and 200 medley (1:47.41) relays. Quirbach won all four events on Saturday against SUNY Potsdam, capturing the 200 backstroke (2:03.37) and 200 freestyle (1:49.42) while leading off for the top 200 medley relay (1:40.98) and aiding the winning 400 freestyle relay (3:25.16).


NE10 Women's Rookie of the Week

Taylor White, Bentley
Freshman | Warwick, Bermuda

In a pair of dual meets, White was unbeaten in five individual races. She was first to the wall in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:59.65), the 200 backstroke (2:12.11) and the 100 butterfly (1:02.02) against St. Michael's and took first in the 200 free (1:59.78) and the 400 individual medley (4:49.08) against Adelphi. In addition, she was part of Bentley's winning 200 free relay (1:43.76) against the Purple Knights and was part of a 200 medley relay team that was second (1:59.54) against Adelphi. During the week, she posted the conference's fourth best times of the season in the 1000 free and 400 IM, the fifth best in the 200 back and the eighth best in the 200 free.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

400 Freestyle Relay, Adelphi
The group of Cooper Rivers, Brian Klotsche, Timothy Yeung and Daniel Dalrymple put up a time of 3:19.30 in the lanes against Southern Connecticut, besting their quartet by .05 seconds to take first in the event.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

200 Free Relay, Bentley
Against St. Michael's, freshman Taylor White combined with seniors Dariana Gonzales, Marissa Adamo and Kate Galvin for a winning 200 free relay time of 1:43.76.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Timothy Yeung, Adelphi (Jr. - New Hyde Park, N.Y.)
For Adelphi, Timothy Yeung was responsible for two first place finishes against Saint Rose and a trio of third place swims in the two meets prior. His top events were a 5:08.51 in the 500 freestyle, followed by a 10:39.34 time in the 1000 freestyle. He was also a member of the 400 relay team that bested Southern Connecticut by .05 seconds, as they clocked in at 3:19.30.

Sophia Lumino, Assumption (Sr. - Peabody, Mass.)
Lumino was a part of three first-place finishes at Providence on Saturday. The senior won the 100m Breaststroke (1:18.55) while also being a part of the 200m Medley Relay (2:05.37) and the 200m Freestyle (1:55.70).

Hilla Almog, Bentley (So. - Wayland, Mass.)
Almog captured the one-meter diving against both St. Michael's (262.88) and Adelphi (266.63). In the three-meter, she was first against the Purple Knights (217.87) and second against Adelphi (222.82). Both scores against the Panthers were good for third on the NE10 performance list.

Belal Aly, Le Moyne (So. - Syracuse, N.Y.)
He had three individual victories and teamed on three relay wins in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. In Tuesday's 128-109 win at Alfred, he touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle by over three seconds with a mark of 1:48.32. He then won the 100-yard freestyle by just under one second with a time of 49.06 seconds. He closed out the meet by swimming the second leg of the first-place 200-yard freestyle relay, which clinched the meet win for the Dolphins. In a 147-80 win over Nazareth on Friday, he opened the meet by anchoring the 400-yard medley relay, which won by over 11 seconds with a mark of 3:43.71. He then was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle by just 0.63 seconds with a mark of 1:52.01. He closed out the meet by leading off the victorious 400-yard freestyle relay.

Justin Byrne, Le Moyne (So. - Syracuse, N.Y.)
He went 4-0 during Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He registered 227.32 points to win off the one-meter board and claimed the three-meter diving event with 211.35 points on Tuesday at Alfred in a 128-109 victory. He then swept the two one-meter diving events in a 147-80 victory over Nazareth on Friday. He recorded 175.75 points to win the first event. He then tallied 272.90 points in the second event to place first. His total of 448.65 points over 11 dives is a national-qualifying score.

Margaret Wilk, Saint Michael's (So. - Hardyston, N.J.)
Sophomore Margaret Wilk registered six wins in a pair of meets last week. At Bentley on Tuesday, she won the 100 freestyle (57.46) and 200 individual medley (2:20.80) while placing second in the 50 freestyle (26.37). During the 200 medley relay, she helped her quartet take third with the second-fastest 50 freestyle anchor leg (26.59) in the race. On Saturday against SUNY Potsdam, Wilk won the 50 freestyle (26.17) and 200 freestyle (2:07.88) and anchored the winning 200 medley (2:00.63) and 400 freestyle (3:59.09) relays, swimming the fastest leg in the entire event during the 400.

Paola Castillo, Southern Conn. St. (Fr. - San Diego, Calif.)
Freshman sensation Paola Castillo had an incredible week for the Owls, picking up eight wins in three meets. Against Marist, she won the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:59.20 and the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:16.59. She also added a second-place finish in the 200 IM. Against Adelphi, she won the 200 Butterfly in 2:09.68 and was also part of the 400 Medley Relay team that won, while also finishing second in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 56.02. Against Saint Rose, she won the 100 Freestyle with a time of 56.21 and the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:41.67, and was also part of the 200 Medley Relay team that won with a time of 1:58.87.

Nicholle Denault, Southern Conn. St. (So. - West Hartford, Conn.)
Against Saint Rose, Nicholle Denault posted a NCAA qualifying score in the 1 Meter diving event with a score of 173.95. Against Marist, she posted a score of 169.73 in the 3 Meter and a score of 191.18 in the 1 Meter. Against Adelphi, finished second in the 1 Meter (232.26) and 3 Meter Diving events (209.70).

Matheus Silva, Southern Conn. St. (So. - Stratford, Conn.)
Against Saint Rose, Matheus SIlva posted a NCAA qualifying score of 175. 45, which was good for the win against the Golden Knights. Against Adelphi, won the 1 Meter Diving event with a score of 265.79.

Chandler Tucker, Southern Conn. St. (Sr. - Bellmore, N.Y.)
In three meets for the week, Chandler Tucker picked up five wins. Against Marist, Tucker won the 500 Freestyle with a time of 4:45.51 and then followed with a win in the 50 Backstroke with a time of 24.57. He then won the 200 Individual Medley against Adelphi with a time of 1:56.22. He closed the week with wins in the 100 Breast (58.67) against Saint Rose and also the 100 Butterfly with a time of 53.77. Tucker's time in the 100 Breast against Saint Rose was the fifth-fastest time in the NE10 this season while his time in the 200 IM against Adelphi was the fourth-fastest of the season.
