A total of 16 student-athletes, ten men and six women, from the Northeast-10 have qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field championships. The championships will be held May 21-23, at the Legrand Sports Complex on the campus of Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Angelo State University will serve as host.
The University of Massachusetts Lowell junior track athlete Doug Caves (Oxford, Mass.) and Bentley University senior Melissa Nash (Marshfield, Mass.) were named the 2009 Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Year as voted by the conferences head coaches.

The Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Year could add additional hardware as the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named both athletes the East Region Athletes of the Year.
A total of 20 men and 12 women from the Northeast-10 have qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field championships, which will be held next weekend, March 13th and 14th in Houston, Texas as part of the Division II Winter National Championship Festival.
The University of Massachusetts Lowell senior track athlete Ruben Sanca (Boston, Mass.) and Southern Connecticut State University junior Letecia Taylor (Plainfield, N.J.) were named the 2008-2009 Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Year in a vote by the conferences eight head coaches.
