A total of 92 student-athletes have earned Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference recognition for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom.
Seven Northeast-10 student-athletes have been named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America Division II Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Teams.
The Northeast-10 had 44 student-athletes representing the conference at the three-day event in Pueblo, Colo., with 32 posting All-America performances.

UMass Lowell's Elisabeth Monty won two individual titles and a relay title; set a school record and a meet record; and accounted for 30 points to lead UMass Lowell to second place at the New England Championship. She captured the 100 meter hurdles in 13.75 seconds and went on to win the 400 meter hurdles in 59.34 seconds. Also ran a leg on UMass Lowell’s 4X400 meter relay team which placed first in a meet record 3:44.29. In addition, Monty set a school record for the second time this season Friday in the 400 meters preliminary as she placed first in 58.22.
The Owl men and River Hawk women both claimed conference titles Saturday afternoon at the 2013 Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by American International.
American International's Glarius Rop won the 10,000-meter at the Penn Relays with a NCAA automatic qualifying time of 28:58.22. His time was the fastest in the nation this year.

UMass Lowell's Elisabeth Monty shattered two school records, provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship in two events at two meets over the weekend. On Friday, Monty placed 10th in the 100 meter hurdles at the Mount San Antonio College Relays in 13.69 seconds, besting the previous school record of 13.95, which currently ranks ninth on the latest NCAA Division II list. On Saturday, she placed seventh in the 400 meter hurdles at the Long Beach State Invitational in 1:00.15, which eclipsed the previous school record of 1:00.34, and ranks seventh on the Division II list.
Bentley's Caitlin Fahey finished first in the 800 meters during the University of New Hampshire Wildcat Invitational with her time of 2:11.28 putting her at number eight on the NCAA Division II performance list and besting her own PR, set a week ago at UMass Lowell, by 1.33 seconds. Fahey was also part of Bentley’s 4x400 relay team which placed fourth in 4:17.03. It’s the third consecutive week she’s been honored with this recognition
The Northeast-10 Conference announced its Academic All-Conference teams for the 2012-13 winter athletic season on Thursday, featured 68 student-athletes.
Southern Connecticut's Nick Lebron finished in first place at the UConn Decathlon in Storrs, Conn. He earned 7,263 total points during the win for an NCAA automatic berth to the NCAA Championships, and his score is currently ranked second nationally.
Southern Connecticut's Selasi Lumax competed at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. this past weekend, and posted a fifth-place finish in the 800m Invitational in 1:50.13. His time in the 800 is tops in the conference this year and is also an NCAA provisional qualifying time. He was also a part of the 1600m sprint medley team which finished in first place in 3:20.99, and he was a part of the 4X400m relay team that finished in fifth place in 3:11.22.
Highlights from the 2013 Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships which were held Saturday, February 16 at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass. UMass Lowell won the women's team title, while Stonehill won the men's team championship.
