Twenty-seven
student-athletes receive
USTFCCCA All-Academic individual recognition
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Nine track & field programs from Northeast-10 Conference schools have received All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced on Wednesday.
Adelphi University and Bentley University both saw their men’s and women’s programs honored. Five other women’s programs – Franklin Pierce University, Merrimack College, the University of New Haven, The College of Saint Rose and Stonehill College – also received USTFCCCA Team Academic awards.
In all, 92 women’s programs were recognized by the
USTFCCCA, while 42 men’s programs received the team academic
honor after posting cumulative team grade point averages of 3.0 or
higher.
The Franklin Pierce women posted the top team GPA among the nine
programs honored at 3.40. For a list of the team GPAs for each
program recognized, please see below.
Individually, six men and 21 women from Northeast-10 schools were
named USTFCCCA All-Academic selections as well. New Haven had six
selections, Stonehill had five, Southern Connecticut State
University had four and Bentley had three, while former conference
member Uniiversity of Massachusetts Lowell had seven.

The Northeast-10 Conference is an association of 15 NCAA
Division II colleges and universities located in New England and
New York that is committed to supporting balanced academic and
athletic opportunities for more than 6,000 student-athletes. Each
year, 4,000 of those student-athletes compete in conference
championships in 23 sports, making the NE-10 the largest DII
conference in the country. Leading the way in the classroom, on the
field and within the community, the Northeast-10 is proud of its
comprehensive program and the experience it provides
student-athletes.
