92 NE10 Student-Athletes Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

NE10 with 92 Student-Athletes Named All-Region. 


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 had 92 sutdent-athletes selected as USTFCCCA All-Region, as announced by the organization last week. 

The Southern Connecticut men led the NE10 23 student-athletes and 29 overal All-Region selections. Franklin Pierce was second with 10 student-athletes and 13 total selections. Meanwhile, Adelphi (4), Assumption (3), New Haven (8) and Saint Rose (1) all had student-athletes selected. 

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season. 

On the women's side, Adelph and Southern Connecticut tied in the NE10 with nine student-athletes. The Panthers had 17 overall selections, and the Owls had 15. Southern New Hampshire was right behind with eight student-athletes and 14 All-Region selections. Those three programs were joined by AIC (3), Assumption (1), Franklin Pierce (4) and New Haven (1) all had student-athletes honored.
