NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Sachin Manning, Southern Conn. St.
Graduate Student | Bridgeport, Conn.
Competing at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational hosted by the University of Miami, Owls graduate student Sachin Manning finished second out of 14 student-athletes in the 400 Meter Hurdles with an NCAA Division II provisional time of 52.37, ahead of runners from Harvard, Miami, Penn, and Penn State. Manning was also part of the 4x400 Relay team that finished second, ahead of Miami and Dartmouth, with a time of 3:14.89.

Jordan Davis, Southern Conn. St.
Junior | Wallingford, Conn.
2022 NCAA Division II Javelin Champion Jordan Davis picked up where he left off last season, with a win in his first event of the 2023 Outdoor Season. Competing at the Raleigh Relays in a 43-person field comprised primarily of Div. I competition, Davis won the Javelin with a mark of NCAA Div. II provisional mark of 71.61m.
NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week
Oseratin Osagie, Southern Conn. St.
Freshman | Norwich, Conn.
Owls freshman Osaretin Osagie finished 10th in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 14.62, placing ahead of a pair of runners from Dartmouth. He also finished eighth in the 400 Hurdles with a time of 54.24, ahead of runners from Penn, Harvard, FIU and Miami. Osagie was also part of the 4x400 Relay team that finished second, ahead of Miami and Dartmouth, with a time of 3:14.89.

Yoofi Abaka-Amuah, Assumption
Freshman | Worcester, Mass.
Abaka-Amuah continued his historic freshman campaign, as he took first place at the BSU Bear Invite in both the Discus (44.56m | 146' 2") and the Hammer (44.88m | 147' 3"). His discus throw established a new program record, breaking Joe Kowalczyk's mark of 43.87m, which he tossed at the UMass Lowell invite on April 14, 2007.

4x400 Relay, Southern Conn. St.
Southern Connecticut's 4x400 Relay team of Osaretin Osagie, Sachin Manning, Christ N'Dabian and Ramsley Exantus finished second at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational hosted by University of Miami. The Owls posted a time of 3:14.89, finishing ahead of Miami and Dartmouth.

Ramsey Exantus, Southern Conn. St. (Jr. - Stratford, Conn.)
Competing at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational hosted by University of Miami, Ramsley Exantus posted a NCAA Division II provisional time of 53.01 to finish fourth in the 400 Hurdles, just behind teammate Sachin Manning. Exantus was also part of the 4x400 Relay team that finished second, ahead of Miami and Dartmouth, with a time of 3:14.89.
