NE10 Player of the Week

Monica Spain, Assumption
Senior | Forward | Braintree, Mass.

Spain averaged a double-double on the week, as the senior scored 11.0 points and added 10.0 rebounds per game in Assumption's 3-0 week. At New Haven, Spain scored 13 points and added 12 rebounds with three assists. On Saturday, the forward made it three-straight double-doubles as she poured in 11 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists in the Greyhounds' 81-76 triple overtime win at Queens. Spain wrapped up the week with a nine-point, five-rebound performance against Georgian Court, as Assumption moved to 11-0 on the year, which is its best start in program history.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ciara Collins, Pace
Freshman | Forward | Bristol, Conn.

Collins averaged 11.5 points and 4.0 rebounds on 43.5% shooting in a 2-0 week for Pace. Her best game of the week was a 17-point, five-rebound performance in a win over Felician.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Maggie Whitmore, Bentley (Jr., G/F - South Portland, Me.)
At Holy Family in a 77-70 loss, Whitmore led Bentley with 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal. She made two of her four three-pointers and all four of her free throws.

Kenzie Sirowich, Franklin Pierce (Fr., G - Seymour, Conn.)
The Raven freshman logged 31 minutes played in their lone matchup against Southern New Hampshire, collecting a new career-high 20 points with seven rebounds and 4 assists, shooting 8-of-13 (61.5%) from the floor. In the lone effort, Sirowich additionally added the teams only three-point baskets, and also shot 2-of-2 from the free throw line.

Lytoya Baker, Le Moyne (Sr., G - Rochester, N.Y.)
Baker averaged 12.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals in Le Moyne's 3-0 week.

Melanie Hoyt, Saint Anselm (So., F - Stamford, N.Y.)
Helping the Hawks to a huge victory over the top team in the East Region on Sunday, Hoyt led the Hawks with 14.5 points per game this past week, pushing Saint Anselm to a 2-0 record. Logging seven rebounds in each game, she scored 13 points at Post on Friday before pouring home a team-leading 16 points against the nationally-ranked Wildcats on Sunday in a huge 54-38 victory.

Paige Slaven, Saint Michael's (Jr., G - Fair Haven, N.J.)
Slaven turned in 17 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals from her point guard position in a 66-63 loss to Caldwell on Sunday.

Jess Knight, Southern N.H. (Jr., F - Hanover, Mass.)
Knight netted 18 points (6-12 FG, 6-7 FT), grabbed eight rebounds and dished a pair of assists, as the Penmen rolled to a 70-51 victory against Franklin Pierce in the lone game of the week Sunday.
