NE10 Player of the Week

Jenna Jordan, Adelphi
Senior | Forward | Valley Cottage, N.Y.

Jordan went off for a career-high 30 points Saturday on 11-of-17 shooting in an 80-75 come-from-behind win over Saint Anselm. 20 of those points came in the first half to keep her team in it when they trailed for nearly the entire period. Also shot 8-of-9 from the foul line and pulled down 11 rebounds for a double-double. Earlier that week, Jordan dropped 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a hard-fought effort at home vs. New Haven.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Kaia Goode, Le Moyne
Freshman | Guard | Rochester, N.Y.

Goode averaged 16.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She recorded 17 points, three assists, three rebounds and two steals in a 53-43 victory at Pace on Tuesday. She netted 15 points with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 63-58 win at Saint Rose on Saturday. 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll 

Taylor Tomlinson, American International (Gr., Power Forward - Middletown, N.Y.)
Tomlinson averaged just shy of a double double in a 2-0 week for the Yellow Jackets. She pulled down a team-best 13 rebounds in AIC's win over Queens and then scored all 13 points in the final 15 minutes of regulation and overtime against Saint Michael's to help the team to a comeback win.

Ja'Lyn Armstrong, Assumption (Sr., G - Baltimore, Md.)
Armstrong had a game-high 16 points, as Assumption extended their winning streak to five-games following a 57-24 win at Franklin Pierce on Thursday.

Maggie Whitmore, Bentley (Jr., G/F - South Portland, Me.)
Whitmore averaged 21 points, 7.5 rebounds and three assists in two games for the Falcons. Her field goal was an impressive .552, she made two of five from deep and she was perfect on eight attempts from the foul line. Against Saint Anselm, Whitmore established a career scoring high in a two-point loss, finishing with 26 points, seven rebounds and five assists. She also had a team-high 16 against Southern Connecticut State.

Kameryn King, New Haven (Sr., G - Old Saybrook, Conn.)
King helped lead the Chargers to a 2-0 week with a pair of road wins extending New Haven's win streak to 5-straight before returning home for a three-game homestand. For the week, King averaged 12 points and 6.5 assists combined in the two games, shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 92.3 percent at the free throw line. In the midweek win at Adelphi, King finished with seven points and six assists, while she closed out the week with 17 points and seven assists at Franklin Pierce. Against the Ravens, she shot 50% from the field, while unstoppable at the free line where she finished 9-of-9.

Gabby Turco, Saint Anselm (Jr., G - Wildwood, N.J.)
Turco scored at least 22 points in each of her team's two games this past week, pouring home 23 at Bentley on Wednesday in her team's first victory in Waltham, Mass. since the 1994-95 season. She then tacked on 22 more points on the road at Adelphi, making all seven free throws for a 92.9% rate at the charity stripe on the week. She also handed out nine assists with three steals, hauling in 10 total rebounds in 77 minutes on the week.

Makayla Blake, Saint Michael's (Jr., F - Colonie, N.Y.)
Blake averaged 12.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 offensive boards last week. She notched eight points and seven rebounds in a 50-42 loss at Saint Rose on Wednesday before turning in 16 points (6x11 FG), 10 boards, five offensive rebounds and a steal in a 58-56 overtime setback at AIC on Saturday. 

Zoe Amalbert, Southern Conn. St. (Sr., G - Nanuet, N.Y.)
In a pair of Owls wins last week, Amalbert averaged a team-high 15.5 points with 3.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. Against Southern New Hampshire in a 62-58 road win, Amalbert totaled nine points, six assists and four rebounds. Against Bentley in a 63-55 win at home, Amalbert led the Owls with 22 points, knocking down 3-of-4 from three-point range, while totaling three rebounds and tallying two steals.

Jess Knight, Southern N.H. (Jr., F - Hanover, Mass.)
Knight averaged a double-double of 13.5 points and 14.0 rebounds, to go with 2.0 blocks and 1.0 assist per game, during a 1-1 week for the Penmen. Knight notched 11 points (3-14 FG, 5-6 FT), a career-high 16 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in a 62-58 loss against Southern Connecticut on Tuesday. She posted 16 points (5-12 FG, 6-10 FT), 12 boards and a pair of blocks in Saturday's 77-74 win over Pace.
