Embrace The Journey: Battle of Women's Lacrosse Powers to Square Off in Front of National Audience

MANSFIELD, Mass. — The Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse showdown between Le Moyne and Adelphi scheduled for Wednesday, April 25 has been selected to be a part of the NCAA Division II Showcase of four spring sports that will be streamed live during the 2018 spring season on ESPN3. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will be played at Adelphi's Motamed Field.

The defending national champions from Adelphi are currently ranked second, while Le Moyne is currently fourth nationally. Le Moyne remains undefeated (10-0), while Adelphi's only loss is at the hands of top-ranked Florida Southern.

The showcase unveiled recently will initially feature a men's and a women's lacrosse game, as well as a baseball and a softball doubleheader. The complete schedule of games is below.

"Division II's continued collaboration with ESPN provides an exciting opportunity to share the accomplishments of our student-athletes with a broad national audience," said Terri Steeb Gronau, vice president of Division II.
