Dolphins Hire Beville to Take Over Nationally-Ranked Program.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Over the past couple days, two different Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse coaching jobs have been filled as the 2019-20 year rapidly approaches. American International and Le Moyne each hired head coaches to lead their respective programs.
Le Moyne Hires Beville to Lead Powerful Women's Lacrosse Program
The Dolphins made the biggest splash with their hiring of Liz Beville to lead their nationally-ranked and perennial power women's lacrosse program. It follows the departure of Kathy Taylor, who was named head coach at Colgate earlier this summer. Ironically, Beville was interim head coach at Colgate for the 2019 season, leading the Raiders to an 8-10 mark.
Beville has roots in Division II, as she served as an assistant coach at Colorado Mesa University in 2017-18 – helping the Mavericks to a 12-4 record and advancing to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference semifinals. Prior to Colorado Mesa, she was an assistant at SUNY Cortland for two years and winning a pair of SUNYAC Championship titles.
Beville played four years at SUNY Cortland, serving as team captain under the direction of Taylor. The program went a remarkable 84-7, winning four SUNYAC titles and making four Division III semifinal appearances.
Her father, Steve, has been the head coach of men's lacrosse at Cortland since 2007, and her sister, Lauren, played for Franklin Pierce from 2012-16.

AIC Welcomes Brennan for Women's Lacrosse
The Yellow Jackets made two hires in recent days, including Riley Brennan taking the helm of women's lacrosse following the resignation of Ashley Casiano.
Brennan, one of the most storied athletes in the history of AIC women's lacrosse, rises to head coach after serving as the lead assistant for the past two seasons. Under her leadership, the Yellow Jackets produced two of the best offensive seasons in program history – including 162 goals in 2018, the third-most in team history.
Prior to her coaching career, Brennan was a five-year member of the program – including a two-time captain. She ranks third all-time in goals (119), eighth in points (135) and was a 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team selection.
