FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MANCHESTER, N.H. - Southern New Hampshire senior Rianna Fasanello's goal during Tuesday night's Northeast-10 Conference game against Assumption was certainly a special one. Not only was it the first career goal for Fasanello and the only goal scored in the game, giving her team a hardfought 1-0 win, but her strike was featured on ESPN SportsCenter's Top Plays segment.
Her perfectly-placed strike from approximately 35 yards out was play number five on Tuesday night's 11pm EST edition of SportsCenter. To quote ESPN's Kenny Mayne "Fasanello from far far away!"
