Embrace The Championship: For Second Straight Season Panthers Earn Top Seed in NE10 Women's Soccer Championship Field

MANSFIELD, Mass. - By virtue of their Northeast-10 Conference regular season title the Adelphi Panthers will serve as the top seed in the 2017 Women's Soccer Championship, which is set to begin with Quarterfinal Round action on Tuesday, October 31. Adelphi finished the NE10 portion of their schedule with a mark of 13-1, registering 39 points to earn their second-straight regular season title.

Semifinal matches will take place on Friday, November 3 and will be hosted by the two highest remaining seeds. The finals of the 2017 NE10 Women's Soccer Championship, which will be hosted by the highest remaining seed, is set for Sunday, Nov. 5.

* Southern New Hampshire earned the #2 seed based on their regular season win over Franklin Pierce. SNHU and Saint Rose tied during the regular season.  In moving to comparison of each team's record versus the team occupying the highest position of the standings, both teams lost to Adelphi. SNHU beat Franklin Pierce, while Saint Rose lost to Franklin Pierce.

** Le Moyne also finished with 18 points – Merrimack earned the #8 seed based on a head-to-head win vs. Le Moyne.
