The Penmen narrowly missed out on being tabbed first in the poll, as they recorded 155 points and five first-place votes. Saint Rose came in third with 142 points and a single first-place tally, while Adelphi (132 points) came in fourth with the remaining vote for the top spot. Stonehill rounded-out the top five with 114 points.

Soccer action begins on Thursday, Sept. 5, as four NE10 programs open up the new campaign, while the remaining 10 teams play on Friday (Sept. 6) and Saturday (Sept. 7). The NE10 Women's Soccer Championship is tabbed for Sunday, Nov. 17.
