Embrace the Grind: Felber, Laudahn & Predanic Earn CoSIDA Academic All-America Honors

CoSIDA Division II Academic All-America Release

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Franklin Pierce seniors Yannik Felber and Niklas Laudahn, as well as Saint Rose senior Nina Predanic today were named to the Men's and Women's Soccer CoSIDA Academic All-America teams for their performance in the classroom and on the pitch this season. 

Felber, an Academic All-America Second Team selection in 2018, is one of three forwards from across the nation on the First Team. The two-time NE10 Player of the Week is a junior management major with a 3.98 GPA. He appeared in 17 games for the Ravens scoring seven goals while matching a career-high in assists (3) and tallying 17 total points. His signature moment of the season was a two-goal, one assist effort in the Ravens' victory over previously No. 2 Adelphi on Nov. 2.

Laudahn, an Academic All-America Third Team midfielder, has appeared in 17 games for the Ravens with 16 starts. The D2CCA All-East Region Second Team player and First-Team All-Conference selection set a new personal-best in assists (5), which ranks third on the team and he tied his career-high with seven points. In the classroom, the senior business management major owns a 3.97 GPA. 

The No. 18 Ravens (14-3-2) play Post University (16-3-3) tomorrow in the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Super Regional 1 Third Round, tomorrow at Gannon University with kickoff set for 10:00 a.m. 

Predanic is a business administration major with a 3.71 GPA and was previously honored as the 2019 Northeast-10 Conference and D2CCA East Region Player of the Year. She is a four-time NE10 first-team, All-League selection and last year was honored as United Soccer Coaches first-team Scholar All-America and second-team All-America. Predanic continues to lead the NE10 in goals (19), points (51), and assists (13) this season. She is among the top-10 in each category nationally, and is second with nine game-winning goals.

She is furthermore second on the College's all-time scoring list with 131 career points and has been a force up top for the Golden Knights (19-2-1), which are among only 16 schools that are still participating in the NCAA Championship Tournament, as they square off against Molloy on Friday at 1 p.m. in the East Regional Championship.

Last fall the NE10 had four soccer Academic All-Americans, with three on the men's side and one for the women. Felber is the lone repeat honoree for the conference this year.
