UNITED SOCCER COACHES - SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICANS

Predanic and Laurendeau Earn Spots on the First Team.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Just one day after being named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region teams, Saint Rose's trio of Nina Predanic, Marika Laurendeau and Morgan Burchhardt have earned Scholar All-America honors for their outstanding efforts on and off the field this season.

Predanic and Laurendeau both were named to the Scholar All-America First Team, while Burchhardt was on the Second Team. The Golden Knights, the only NE10 program on the men's or women's side to be represented on the Scholar All-America list, was an NCAA semifinalist this season – following their NE10 and East Region championships.

Predanic, now a two-time Scholar All-American, has a 3.71 GPA as a business administration major. She led the NE10 in scoring this season, recording 20 goals and 17 assists for a career-high 57 points, on her way to becoming NE10 and East Region Player of the Year – as well as a United Soccer Coaches and D2CCA First Team All-American.

Laurendeau, a biology major with a 3.81 GPA, joined Predanic on the Scholar All-America First Team after providing stability between the posts this season as Saint Rose's goalie. She was elected the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year, in addition to First Team All-Region and Second Team All-American by United Soccer Coaches.

Burchhardt, who is going for her MBA at Saint Rose and currently sits with a 3.54 GPA, accounted for three goals and 14 assists for the Golden Knights this season. She was a First Team All-Region and Third Team All-American selection by United Soccer Coaches.

The United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team is made up of players that were selected to the First Team as Scholar All-Region. To be eligible, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA throughout their career, started more than half of their team's games while making a significant contribution, and be a junior or above in academic standing.
