Embrace The Championship: Chargers Earn Top Seed as NE10 Announces Volleyball Championship Seeds

Quarterfinal Round Action Gets Underway on Tuesday

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Hew Haven earned the top seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Volleyball Championship as they completed a perfect conference regular season (14-0), as the league office announced its volleyball tournament field.

For seedings and matchups for this year's NE10 Volleyball Championship, see below.

The Chargers earned the No. 1 seed after finishing 20-7 overall and unblemished in conference play to win the NE10 Regular Season Championship. New Haven will head into the championship as one of the hottest teams in the nation, having won 16 matches consecutively.

American International, defending regional champions claimed the No. 2 seed after going 12-2 in conference play, while Bentley (10-4) and Adelphi (9-5) all will host Quarterfinal matches when the championship gets underway on Tuesday. 

The highest remaining seed following the quarterfinal round will host both the semifinals and finals. The semifinals will take place on Friday, Nov. 17, while the title match will be played on Saturday, Nov. 18.

*In the four-way tie between Stonehill, Saint Anselm, Southern Connecticut and Pace, Stonehill and Saint Anselm had a 2-1 record in the mini-conference and Southern Connecticut and Pace had a 1-2 record in the mini-conference.  Stonehill earned the #5 seed based on a head-to-head win vs. Saint Anselm and Southern Connecticut earned the #7 seed based on a head-to-head win vs. Pace.
