Only Player from the East Region to Earn CoSIDA Academic All-American.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Saint Rose's Tina Ceriello represents the Northeast-10 Conference as a First Team selection on the Academic All-America Division II volleyball team, as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and announced on Tuesday.

Ceriello, a senior for the Golden Knights who was named NE10 Libero of the Year following the 2019 season, earns CoSIDA Academic All-America honors for the second-straight season. She makes her debut appearance on the First Team.

One of just seven players in all of Division II to earn a place on the First Team, she has a 4.0 GPA as a communications sciences and disorders major – in addition to her remarkable achievements on the court this season.

Ceriello led the NE10 in digs (540) and digs per set (5.35) during the regular season, proving to be the league's most potent defensive player. She is a two-time NE10 Second Team All-Conference honoree and was named to the Academic All-Conference volleyball team in 2018.

The Saint Rose standout had three-straight seasons with over 500 digs, including a career-high 582 as a junior as she led the Golden Knights to an NE10 Tournament appearance for the first time since 2015.
