Stonehill Picked to Win Both Men's and Women's Titles at NE10 Cross Country Championships

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Both the Stonehill men's and women's programs have been tabbed to claim titles at this weekend's Northeast-10 Conference Cross Country Championships. The 37th annual NE10 Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will take place this Sunday, October 22 and will be hosted by American International College at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts.

The Women's Race will begin at 11am with the Men's to follow at approximately 12pm.

Stonehill took the top spot in the Men's Coaches' Poll with 191 points and 10 of the 15 first-place votes. The Skyhawks finished second at last year's championship event, as American International won the team title. The defending-champion Yellow Jackets (184 points) were picked to finish second, while Southern New Hampshire was tabbed to finish third (154).

On the Women's side, the Skyhawks received 195 total points in the coaches' voting, including 13 of a possible 14 first-place nods. The Skyhawks won their 15th NE10 women's title a year ago with five of their runners placing in the top 12. It was the eighth straight team title for the Skyhawks who will look to continue their dominance on Sunday. Assumption (178 points) was picked second with American International (168) chosen third.
