Emma Hapkiewicz is one of the greatest distance swimmers in NE10 history and this week she's has one more go-around at the conference championship meet. Hapkiewicz talks about her success to this point, Bentley's expectations heading into the NE10 Championship, her family's connection to Boston and more.


ADRIANA TIMBERLAKE
SNHU Women's Basketball

SNHU graduate guard Adriana Timberlake is the reigning NE10 Player of the Year and she's coming off the best game of her career. Timberlake scored a career-best 30 points Wednesday in a road win at No. 8 Bentley, the same squad that beat SNHU in last season's NE10 Championship.

Timberlake discusses the play that won the game, her development in Manchester and what lies ahead.

Southern Connecticut State Track & Field

Kisha Francois is the reigning NE10 indoor long jump champion. The SCSU Owl joins the podcast to talk about her growth this season, competing as a runner and jumper, how track runs in her family and her plans after college.

Franklin Pierce Track & Field

Nobody in NCAA DII has run the 200m faster than Stephen Harris this season.  The Ravens' own Lightning McQueen has his sights set on an NE10 championship, but also so much more.  And there's a secret to his success: microwaved ice cream at 8pm for 10 seconds the night before a meet.

Franklin Pierce Men's Ice Hockey

Jeremy Connor is the current NE10 goalkeeper of the week after his 37 and 45 save performances in two big wins for the Ravens over Saint Michael's.

Connor, a sophomore netminder and first-year starter, joins NE10 NOW to discuss his role on the ice this season, how he became a goalkeeper, who he admires between the pipes and how the Ravens are gearing up for the home stretch of the 2024 season.

Adelphi Swimming & Diving

Adelphi junior captain Cooper Rivers is the best in the NE10 this winter at the 100m and 200m Free and the 200m and 400m IM. We chat with Cooper about coming east from his home in California, swimming with his brother, his future in biology and more.

Bentley Women's Basketball

The Bentley Falcons have lofty goals for 2024 and are off to a great start at 9-1. Maggie Whitmore discusses the season for the Falcons and her path to the NE10 from South Portland, Maine.

Assumption Men's Ice Hockey

A freshman for Assumption men's hockey, Jonathan Surrette has wasted no time adapting to college life. The Mass. native has led the NE10 in scoring for much of the season with the Greyhounds off to the best start in school history.


MATT BECHT
SNHU Men's Basketball

Matt Becht is back for a final season with the SNHU Penmen, trying to build on a fantastic 2022-23 season.

Becht is one of the best shooters in the NE10 but he almost didn't wind up in the league ... or playing basketball at all after a slew of injuries at his first collegiate stop.  The guard talks about his journey through college hoops and what he expects the rest of this season.


ANIYA McDONALD-PERRY
Saint Rose Women's Basketball

St Rose is the surprise team of the NE10 women's basketball season. The Golden Knights are 5-1 after being picked at the bottom of the league's preseason poll. St Rose lost its first game of the season before knocking off then No. 4 Assumption and the Knights haven't looked back since. McDonald-Perry is the second leading rebounder in the NE10 as a sophomore in Albany.

Saint Michael's Men's Basketball

Saint Michael's men's basketball was picked to finish in the basement of the NE10 this season ... and five games into conference play the Purple Knights are the lone unbeaten team remaining at 5-0. Star sophomore Darrel Yepdo breaks down the early-season turnaround in Colchester.

Pace Women's Basketball

From Barbados to New York, Tower Lorde has made huge jumps in her basketball career both since arriving at Pace and since moving to hoops from her sports origins in netball.


JOSH MORISSETTE
Saint Anselm Men's Basketball

Josh Morissette has made quite the splash in DII. The Wofford transfer drained an NE10 record 12 threes vs. Franklin Pierce on Tuesday ... after not hitting one for the first 12 minutes of the game. He finished with 44 points.


KARL VERNET
Franklin Pierce Men's Soccer

FPU keeper Karl Vernet was the Raven's starter in cage ... until he wasn't. A knee injury sidelined the senior, but another injury to the NE10's eventual Keeper of the Year opened the door for Vernet to return in the NCAA Tournament of all places. Now, on the verge of the NCAA semifinals, Vernet chats about his season and the chance to win a national title.

Adelphi Women's Soccer

The Adelphi Panthers are gearing up to take on the NCAA semifinals Thursday. Senior Kayla Mushorn joins the pod to break down how she helped get the Panthers there, why this team is special and what it will take to win it all.


THOMAS ESPEROE
Franklin Pierce Men's Soccer

Thomas Esperoe didn't believe he was good enough to play at Franklin Pierce ... and then he got contacted by his coaches and he had to make sure it was real.  The Queens College transfer has been a huge asset for the Ravens since joining the team as a graduate student this fall.

After starting his career in the warm climate of Florida's Nova Southeastern, the Norway native is ending his college career in the NE10 and looking to cap it off on the highest of notes.



NOELLE ALBERDA
Adelphi Volleyball

"There's more season to go. We really wanted to win NE10's, but ultimately there's a second part to the postseason and that's NCAA's."

Adelphi University Athletics junior Noelle Alberda's accounted for more than 300 kills this season. Thursday she takes the court with the Panthers as the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Regional after capturing the NE10 regular season championship. Alberda talks about what's led to the team's success, coming to Long Island from Washington state and what's on the horizon still.


JUSTICE ELLISON
AIC Men's Basketball

Justice Ellison is the NE10's leading scorer early in 2023-24.  The junior's already dropped more than 30 twice and has impoved his three-point shooting to almost match last season.  Originally a DI basketball player at Central Connecticut State, Ellison is thriving after choosing DII.  He talks about that move, growing up the son of a basketball player, how his game has grown and what AIC needs to do to have a strong season.


TESS DRURY
Saint Michael's Cross Country

Tess Drury won the NE10's Rookie of the Year award in her first season of college ... while also being the top finisher from the conference at the NCAA Championships.  Drury competed well across the NE10, NCAA Regional and NCAA Championship races and has cemented herself in a spot to contend for the next three years to come.


MAY VAN WOUDENBERG
Assumption Field Hockey

May Van Woudenberg was among the best freshmen and field hockey players in general in the NE10 this fall.  The rookie talks about the season she's had and the prospects for the postseason on the eve of the NE10 Championship final.


BRYAN POWELL
Pace Men's Basketball

Pace shocked the basketball world during the preseason, toppling Rick Pitino's St. John's Red Storm to kick off the 2023-24 slate.  Bryan Powell had a double-double in the effort and talks about what the win means to begin the year.


WILL KLEIN
Saint Anselm Football

Since reinstating the football program in 1999, Saint Anselm has only had two winning seasons.  This fall, not only are the Hawks on the brink of their third, but they're also two wins away friom locking up the NE10 championship.

Klein talks about what building the program has been like throughout his time as a Hawk, why the team's defense is so stout and what exactly that trashcan is that everybody gets so excited about every ever forced turnover.


KRISTA DIETZ
Pace Field Hockey

Krista Dietz leads the NE10 in scoring and has now posted her second 20+ goal season in three years to start her college career.  The Pace Setter is in hot contention for NE10 Player of the Year and sits top 10 across ALL of NCAA field hockey in points per game.  After falling just short in the NE10 title game last season, Dietz now has her eyes set on the league's ultimate prize.


KATHERINE & ISABEL MARSH and JONNY VOLPE
2023 Cross Country Championship Preview

Katherine and Isabel Marsh do everything together.  They have the same major.  They want to run a business one day.  They live together, eat together and go to work together.  At the NE10 cross country championships they'll also run together, looking to finish 1-2 for Adelphi.  Meanwhile Jonny Volpe runs as the defending race champion on the men's side.  He chats about having the target on his back and his goals on race day.


JAKE CADY
Assumption Football

Assumption quarterback Jake Cady's taken huge statistical jumps this season and has the greyhounds off to a terrific start in defending their NE10 title.  Cady talks about playing with the target on thier back, his relationship with his receivers, being from Vermont and more.


MIA KLAMMER
Saint Rose Women's Soccer

Mia Klammer played for a national championship as a freshman and has never played in a regular season loss since joining the Golden Knights.  Last season's regional player of the year, Klammer leads the NE10 in scoring this season in her bid to claim the conference's top individual prize while lifting Saint Rose back to the promised land.

Travis Brent is the first-year head coach of the No. 1 men's soccer team in the nation.  Brent chats about what it's like to play with a target on your back each night, how FPU built up a very new-look roster and maintained their top spot, what the Ravens' style looks like and how Franklin Pierce can repeat at national champions this fall.
